Bistek Tagalog


Bistek Tagalog is another original Filipino dish typically made from strips of beef garnished with onions and marinated in sauce. The ingredients used were those of the original recipe but are still easy to find. Matched with clear and concise instructions you’ll soon be on your way to making a delicious Filipino home cooked meal.



Ingredients:

Marinade
Monterey Beef Tapa Cut - 1 kilo
Calamansi juice - 8 pcs
Sugar - 1 tsp
Soysauce - 6 tbsps

Sauce

Liquid seasoning - 4 tsps
Sugar - 2 tsps
Calamansi juice - 2 pcs
Soysauce - ½ cup
Water - ½ cupMagnolia Nutri Oil or
Vegetable Oil - ¼ cup
Onions (white or red), sliced into rings) 1 cup

Procedure:

Place the calamansi juice, sugar, and soy sauce in a bowl.Mix with a wire whisk making sure sugar is properly dissolved.Place the beef in another bowl and pour calamansi mixture over beef.
Mix well.
